New York 529 decides to keep Upromise/Vanguard, add JPMorgan

New York's 529 savings plan administrators have selected current manager Upromise Investments as the winning bidder for a seven-year management contract when the current contract expires. Upromise will continue to partner with The Vanguard Group as investment manager of New York's $10 billion direct-sold 529 plan. J.P. Morgan Asset Managers will partner with Upromise on the advisor-sold plan, replacing Columbia Management in the $1.9 billion plan.
