Senate postpones 529 hearings; House still on for June 2
A hearing on 529 plans scheduled by the U.S. Senate Governmental Affairs Subcommittee on Financial Management, the Budget, and International Security has been postponed from its originally scheduled June 7, 2004 date to a future July date. The House Financial Services Subcommittee on Capital Markets, Insurance and Government Sponsored Enterprises has a 529 hearing scheduled for June 2, 2004.
