Ohio to issue RFP for bank products in its 529 plan

The Ohio Tuition Trust Authority plans to solicit Ohio banks for a new 529 savings account option to include at least one time deposit product insured by the FDIC. The bank products would be available through a variety of the bank's distribution channels. The goal is to introduce these products within the next year, according to OTTA Executive Director Jacqueline Williams.
