Learning Quest 529 adds Vanguard portfolios
The Kansas Learning Quest 529 program is adding four new investment options using Vanguard index funds to its menu on March 31, 2005. The new options are (1) 500 Index Portfolio, investing 100% in the Vanguard 500 index Fund, (2) Total Growth Index Portfolio, investing 85% in the Vanguard Total Stock Market Index Fund and 15% in the Vanguard Total International Stock Index Fund, (3) Total Bond Market index Portfolio, investing 100% in the Vanguard Total Bond Market Index Fund, and (4) Balanced Index Portfolio, investing 100% in the Vanguard Balanced Index Fund.
