Bill introduced to make 529 exclusion permanent
S. 9 Lifetime of Education Opportunities Act of 2005was introduced in the Senate by Sen. Michael Enzi (WY) on January 24, 2005 and referred to the Committee on Finance. Section 520 of the bill would make permanent all the affordable education provisions of the 2001 EGTRRA, including the exclusion for qualifed 529 distributions.
