Nonprofit begins the RFP process for $2MM 529 savings experiment

The Center for Social Development has issued a Request for Proposals seeking a state partner for its initiative to design and implement a national children's savings account model known as SEED. The initiative will result in up to $2 million in contributions to 529 plan accounts for residents of the partnering state. Support for the project comes from several foundations. Proposals are due by June 21, 2005.
