Wisconsin bill to open up deductions is moving along
Wisconsin bill AB 667 would permit Wisconsin taxpayers to deduct up to $3,000 per beneficiary in contributions to ANY 529 plan, not just Wisconsin's own 529 plan. The bill unanimously passed the Committee on Colleges and Universities on January 20 following public hearings the week before, and now moves on to the Joint Committee on Tax Exemptions.
