Wisconsin introduces bill to extend tax deduction to out-of-state 529s

A.B. 31 was introduced January 31, 2005 to permit deductions from Wisconsin taxable income of up to $3,000 for contributions to any 529 plan. The deduction is currently limited to contributions made to Wisconsin's 529 plan. A similar bill (A.B. 667) was introduced last year but failed.
