Upromise Investments, Inc. makes Ugift service available for Nevada 529 accounts
Upromise Investments, Inc. and Nevada State Treasurer Kate Marshall announced the launch of Ugift, an online resource that makes it easy for 529 plan account owners to invite family and friends to contribute toward a child’s college savings plan in lieu of traditional gifts.
Beginning October 31, Ugift was made available for participants of the Upromise College Fund 529 Plan and USAA College Savings Plan, both of which are sponsored by the State of Nevada. Using the Plans’ web sites, account owners can send invitations via email or they can print gift coupons to give to family and friends for a birthday, holiday, or other event.
