Treasury Assistant Secretary for Tax Policy Pamela Olson told attendees at the 2003 ICI/SIA Retirement Savings Conference that proposals for Lifetime Savings Accounts and Retirement Savings Accounts are still alive and very much needed to simplify the tax code.
